I absolutely love summer for two specific reasons. Burgers and fresh peaches. It doesn’t get any better than that. I’ve paired up my two favorite summer staples for one epic burger. This burger definitely transports you to the couth with its smoky yet sweet flavor profile. Try the peaches grilled or just freshly sliced. Either way, this burger combination is a homerun!

Ingredients
:

1 pound Schaendorf ground beef

1 tablespoon McCormick barbeque seasoning blend

1 teaspoon kosher salt

½ teaspoon ground pepper

½ cup barbeque sauce

Fresh mozzarella ball, cut into 4 round slices

2 peaches, sliced

4 lettuce leaves

4 pretzel buns

Preparation (Servings: 4):

1) Preheat grill to 450-475 degrees. Mix ground beef with barbeque seasoning, salt, and pepper. Form into 4, 4 ounce patties.

2) Grill burgers to preferred doneness. During last minute of cooking brush with barbeque sauce and add mozzarella slices to burger patties. If you would like the peach slices grilled, do this at this stage.

3) To assemble burgers, place patty on buns and top with peaches, lettuce, and additional barbeque sauce if desired. Serve immediately.
