Animal Welfare

We care about our cows & their well-being. One thing that separates Schaendorf Cattle Co. from the competition, is that our animals are under our constant supervision, from start to finish. We call it “birth to beef” traceability. This practice assures that our cattle are always provided with proper housing, nutrition, and quality cow care.

A happy cow is a healthy cow. We keep our cattle happy and healthy by providing them with clean, low stress living conditions. They are always free roaming and allowed much more space per animal than conventional methods. Our barn also provides them with year-round shade, airflow, and fresh water. Our animals are never given any hormones.
